Virginia Drivers: New trick allows Qualifying drivers to get Extremely Cheap Auto Insurance!
These are the tricks to get money out of auto insurance company hands and back in your pockets. Suze Orman recently revealed in O, The Oprah Magazine some ridiculously easy tips to lower your monthly auto insurance rates.
What is the main reason you drive?
What is your zip code?
(Virginia) - There is a way to outsmart your auto insurer – and cut your rates by 65%.
Shop for Insurance Deals - You're always looking for the best prices—why not on home and auto insurance, too? You're nuts if you don't comparison shop for auto insurance; you could save 10 percent or more. If you haven’t done this in the past 6 months – 1 year, you’re cheating yourself. (But don't reduce your level of coverage. You want the right coverage for the best price.)
Raise Your Insurance Deductibles - Low deductibles of $250 or so can entice you to make claims for small-ticket items. Do that too often and your insurer may boost your premium or boot you completely. And there's a nice payoff for a higher deductible: Raise your auto deductible to $1,000 or more and your premium cost falls at least 10 percent.
Get a Combination Quote – Insurance carriers have more leeway in giving you better rates if you do a combination quote for auto and home insurance. When you shop for auto quotes, tell the agent or carrier that you’d like a quote bundling both auto and home and you could save 10 percent or more.
